Academic Competitions

Scores for the official AMC8 will be returned to Stoller math teachers by December 13th. Students who participated in the official AMC8 should check in with their math teacher after December 13th to receive their score. Please direct all other questions to Mr. Nelson.

MATHCOUNTS is a National Math Contest where students compete individually and as a team. A total of 10 students from a school can participate, with four being on the official team and 6 as individuals.  Each fall a qualifying exam is administered to those interested in participating.  The top 25 students will be selected to participate in the school qualifying rounds.  Just before Thanksgiving the top 25 will be narrowed down to the top 10 students that will represent Stoller at the Regional Contest in February.
